Adam Blyweiss (COAS ’96) spun with WKDU from 1993-95 as Adam Archer, whose “Chaos 101” show embraced the random-record radio format of 1960s San Francisco. Joining local streaming radio efforts from alumni of WPLY and later WXPN in the 2000s, and rejoining 91.7FM as an alumnus DJ from 2011-15, he focused on great rhythms, electronics, and atmospheres across genres in shows now known as “Ultrasound Radio.” For the 50th anniversary, this show concentrates on sounds Adam spun and heard during his original stint with WKDU that would influence Ultrasound to this day.
